EXIMBANK SPONSORS NATIONAL FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP FOR 03 YEARS 2011-2012-2013

On December 15th, 2010, Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and Vietnam Export Import Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Eximbank) officially announced the main sponsor of the National Football Championship in 2011, 2012 and 2013. Accordingly, the annual tournament will be named “Eximbank V-league 2011/2012/2013”

Through the success of previous seasons, V-league has shown fans nationwide more and more positive changes in Vietnamese football. The competition of leading teams in the country as well as the presence of foreign football players with high-quality skills have brought about eventful, attractive and highly competitive matches

The Vietnam National Football Championship is considered one of the highest quality tournaments in South East Asia and also plays an important role in the development of our country’s football.

As the most important tournament in the annual competition system of the VFF, Eximbank V-league 2011 will gather 14 strongest football clubs of the country, playing on the home and away basis (home ground - away ground). The tournament will be officially launched from 22 January 2011 to 21 August 2011.

In accompanying the most important tournament of Vietnamese football for the first year, Eximbank wishes to give strength to the tournament in particular and Vietnamese football in general on its development path with the desire to bring to Vietnamese football a new image which is more attractive, high-quality and attracts the attention of more fans. At the same time, as the main sponsor of the tournament, Eximbank hopes to show our interest and responsibility to society by sharing our achievements with the community.
