UPDATE OF BIOMETRIC INFORMATION FOR THE LEGAL REPRESENTATIVE OF CORPORATE CLIENTS BY 01/07/2025
To comply with the regulations of the State Bank of Vietnam as stipulated in Circular No. 17/2024/TT-NHNN regarding the Opening and Use of Payment Accounts at Payment Service Providers, “Corporate clients may only withdraw funds or conduct electronic payment transactions on their payment accounts after completing the verification of identification documents and biometric information of their legal representative”.
Accordingly, effective from July 1, 2025, Eximbank will temporarily suspend financial transactions on the online banking system for corporate clients (Eximbank EBiz) if the biometric information of the legal representative has not been updated.
To ensure uninterrupted transactions and enhance the security and safety of online banking services, we kindly request our valued clients to update the biometric information of their legal representative as per the following instructions:
- For legal representatives who are Vietnamese nationals: Update biometric information via the Eximbank EBiz application, Eximbank EDigi application, or at the nearest Eximbank transaction office.
- For legal representatives who are foreign nationals: Update biometric information at the nearest Eximbank transaction office.
