Notice of implementation of fee collection for exceeding SMS messages and update of service fee schedule applicable to other users effective from October 1, 2023

First of all, Vietnam Import-Export Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Eximbank) would like to send respectful greetings and good health wishes to customers and sincerely thank you for using Eximbank's products and services throughout the year. last time.
Eximbank respectfully informs you: In order to ensure fairness for customers using SMS Banking services (use less - pay less, use more - pay more), from October 1, 2023, Eximbank will deploy Charge an excess fee when the customer has a quantity of SMS Banking messages of 50 messages/month or more (for individual customers), from 80 messages/month or more (for corporate customers). Fees are as follows (including VAT):

- For individual customers: if during the month the individual customer receives 50 or more SMS Banking messages, in addition to the fees charged for SMS Banking services, Combo packages, etc. (collected at the beginning of the period: monthly, monthly). Quarter): Eximbank charges an additional fee of 55,000 VND/month/account/subscriber.

- For Corporate Customers: if during the month Corporate Customers receive 80 or more SMS Banking messages, in addition to the fees charged for SMS Banking services, etc. (collected at the beginning of the period: monthly, quarterly): Eximbank charges an additional fee of 55,000 VND/month/account/subscriber.

- Time of fee collection: Eximbank collects an additional fee for exceeding the SMS Banking service information, at the end of the day of the month that the customer exceeds the information.

With this change, Eximbank wants individual/corporate customers to switch from the fee-based SMS banking service (which is a service to manage balance fluctuations via SMS) to a FREE OTT service. (is a balance fluctuation management service on Eximbank EDigi and Eximbank EBiz applications) to help save costs for both customers and banks.

In order to optimize benefits, improve experience on digital channels and save costs for customers, Eximbank recommends that customers proactively switch to using the service of receiving balance change notifications via OTT messages on the Eximbank application. EDigi (Individual Customers) and Eximbank EBiz (Corporate Customers) are completely FREE.

Using the form of receiving notification of payment account balance changes via OTT messages on Eximbank EDigi and Eximbank EBiz, customers will receive:

+ Free use of OTT message receiving service.

+ Unlimited transaction threshold for receiving notifications.

+ Encrypt transaction information when sending and have high security.

+ Receive notification of changes anytime, anywhere as long as you have a network connection.

(*) By default, Eximbank provides OTT services to all Online Banking service users and Corporate customers with registered phone numbers for SMS Banking. The feature of converting SMS services to OTT on Eximbank Ebiz is being completed and will be updated by Eximbank as soon as possible.
