Eximbank reduced lending interest rates according to the policy of the State Bank of Vietnam

According to the policy of the State Bank of Vietnam on reducing lending interest rates for borrowers to meet loan needs to serve a number of economic sectors and industries as prescribed in Circular 39/2016/TT- On December 30, 2016, Eximbank reduced lending interest rates from 7.0%/year to 6.5%/year for priority economic sectors and industries, including:

Serving the field of agricultural and rural development according to the Government's regulations on credit policies for agricultural and rural development;
Implement export business plans according to the provisions of the Commercial Law and guiding documents of the Commercial Law;
Serving the business of small and medium-sized enterprises according to the Government's regulations on supporting the development of small and medium-sized enterprises;
Develop supporting industries according to the Government's regulations on supporting industry development;
Serving the business of enterprises applying high technology according to the provisions of the High Technology Law and guiding documents of the High Technology Law.

In addition to the preferential lending interest rate of 6.5%/year mentioned above, Eximbank is currently deploying short-term loan products to serve production and business activities, suitable for each type of corporate customer with a low interest rate. Interest rates are quite competitive (less than 7%/year). Specifically:

The FIN LC product is being deployed with loan interest rates ranging from 5-6%/year for corporate customers with revenue of 200 billion VND or more.
FIN MME products are currently offering customers a lending interest rate of 6-7%/year if corporate customers have a revenue of 50 billion VND or more.
FIN SME products have loan interest rates from 6.5 to over 7%/year, suitable for business customers with revenue under 50 billion VND.
