Eximbank organizes blood donation festival for the community 2019

On the morning of December 3, 2019, nearly 100 employees of Eximbank Import-Export Commercial Joint Stock Bank participated in donating blood at the Central Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion (Hanoi).

Following the success of the blood donation volunteer program at the end of June 2019, Eximbank continues to implement the Blood Donation Festival with the message "To live is to love". This is a practical program aimed at the social community and supported and participated by a large number of Eximbank employees, contributing nearly 100 units of blood for emergency and preventive care for patients, especially at the end of the year - Blood donations are the scarcest time of the year.

Representatives of the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion took souvenir photos with Eximbank representatives and staff.

Mr. Pham Tuan Duong - Deputy Director of the Institute of Hematology said: "Today, in addition to Eximbank, we also have 5 other blood donation points with the number of blood donors about 1,000 people, donating more than 1,000 units of blood. Only then will patients across the country have hope and enough blood for treatment. The contribution of Eximbank in particular and domestic and foreign agencies and businesses in general is truly a source of supply. precious for the blood source, especially on difficult occasions like Tet like today."

Sharing the same feelings with the program, Eximbank staff shared: "Eximbank understands that the end of the year is the time when blood banks are most in short supply, therefore, the Representative Office in Hanoi coordinates with the Northern Region Youth Union to organize Encouraging staff to join hands to donate blood for patients across the country. Since early morning, many Eximbank employees have come to register to donate blood. Hopefully, with a large amount of blood received from the Eximbank family today This will partly help doctors and nurses in rescue work, especially in emergencies."

Every day, the Central Hematology and Blood Transfusion Institute needs from 1,000 to 1,500 units of blood to use for daily needs and store in the blood bank during the Tet peak. Therefore, each unit of blood is a noble gesture to tens of thousands of patient hearts across the country, thereby conveying the humane message "To live is to love" in the blood donor community.
