Eximbank donated charity houses in Ky Son district, Nghe An
Recently, Eximbank coordinated with the Department of Planning and Investment of Nghe An province to hand over a house of gratitude to Ms. Luong Thi Thuan's family in Xieng Tam village, My Ly commune, Ky Son district, Nghe An.
Attending and chairing the award ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Huu Mao - Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of Nghe An province and Eximbank representatives: Mr. Bui Thai Hung - Secretary of Eximbank's grassroots union, Ms. Vu Thi Hoa - Secretary of the Youth Union Youth of Eximbank Northern Region, Mr. Nguyen Van Nam - Director of Eximbank Vinh Branch. The house with an area of 70 square meters was started and completed within 1 and a half months so that Mr. Thuan's family could have a place to shelter from the wind and rain.
At the awarding ceremony of the "House of Gratitude", Mr. Nguyen Huu Mao sent congratulations and encouragement to Mr. Thuan as well as expressed the loss he went through to make the country free and independent like today.
Mrs. Luong Thi Thuan is over 80 years old, currently living alone in a house on stilts with thatched walls, without children because her husband died in the war when he was young. Understanding Mr. Thuan's difficult situation, the Eximbank Youth Union coordinated with the Department of Planning and Investment of Nghe An province to build a house with a total cost of 100 million VND on the family's land.

In the atmosphere of excitement and great happiness, Ms. Luong Thi Thuan could not hide her emotions. "The previous years were very difficult, every time the rainy season came, I couldn't sleep, the house was completely destroyed. Fortunately, thanks to the attention of the local government and the staff of Eximbank to poor people in remote areas like me, my family now has a new, spacious and sturdy house to survive the rainy season." – Ms. Luong Thi Thuan emotionally shared at the giving morning.

In the coming time, Eximbank will continue to implement social security activities to share other difficult situations in all parts of the country" - Eximbank representative expressed.

Also on this trip, the Eximbank Youth Union also gave additional gifts to poor households in Xieng Tam village. In addition to material significance, these gifts have spiritual value that Eximbank employees share and send to the people here.
