Eximbank cooperated with Bank of New York Mellon to organize a seminar on anti-money laundering

On October 29, 2015, Vietnam Export-Import Bank - Eximbank coordinated with Bank of New York Mellon to organize a seminar on anti-money laundering in banking activities and new regulations. of the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) under the US Treasury Department.
At the conference, Mr. Steven Rice - Global Vice President of Compliance at Bank of New York Mellon shared updated information on the legal environment in world banking operations, compliance requirements and compliance requirements. experience in preventing financial crimes. He also appreciated Eximbank's attention to compliance, money laundering and financial crime prevention, demonstrated through Eximbank's investment in people as well as modern technological infrastructure.
Eximbank representatives attending, including leaders of headquarters units and branches in the Ho Chi Minh City area, shared many experiences in implementing regulations on preventing money laundering and financial crimes in Vietnam, as well as such as compliance with international regulations, standards and practices. To date, Eximbank is one of the first joint stock commercial banks in Vietnam to deploy a fully automatic, online, real-time transaction review and screening system throughout the system, contributing to ensuring Safety for customer transactions.
