He has over 45 years of experience in banking, financial services, and corporate governance. Throughout his career, he held numerous senior leadership positions at Citibank and United Overseas Bank (UOB), overseeing corporate banking, credit risk management, operations, global markets, and financial institutions. He has also served as an Independent Director and Chairman of the Audit, Risk, and Nominating Committees for various leading organizations and listed companies in Singapore and the region.
